Demmy Tinsley is the sister of Dustin Tinsley.

When she was twelve, Dustin raped her and carried this on for several years. He soon isolated her from actual romance with another man, believing he was all she needed, and he swore her to secrecy even from the siblings' parents. One night, Demmy feared Dustin was responsible for the rape of Kayla Stuart after finding her unconscious in the park shortly after Dustin sexually harassed her.
Dustin was found with Kayla's wallet and swiftly arrested with much media coverage. However, the real rapist, Aaron Wesley Parker, anonymously called and confessed, bragging about raping another woman, Shay Landry, and was eventually arrested raping and sexually assaulting Kayla, Shay, and numerous other women. It was later revealed Demmy planted Kayla's wallet at Dustin's apartment out of false suspicions.
Dustin beat Demmy within an inch of her life and raped her when she was revealed to have set up the incrimination. She was found and rushed to the hospital for her injuries. Once there, she admitted her frame job and revealed Dustin's rapes against her. Dustin was arrested and imprisoned for raping and assaulting Demmy, with Demmy being released because her incrimination was clearly out of distress. (SVU: "Eighteen Wheels a Predator")
