Derek Cahill is a corrupt corporate executive for SavingsMart. He murdered a young attorney named Lily Yee in order to retrieve a pair of pants to cover up an affair he had with his coworker, Rachel Munroe, which was strictly prohibited under company policy. In addition, Cahill was part of a coverup by the company to resell, rather than destroy, contaminated toothpaste to bulk buyers such as prisons and nursing homes, which he blackmailed the company with releasing if they sold out his guilt over murder.
