Donna Bucci is the irresponsible and mentally unstable mother of Ivy and Milly Bucci and the ex-wife of former detective Frank Bucci.
History[]
Donna, Ivy and Milly were invited to Steve Getz's yacht party after he was acquitted on rape charges. Donna was unaware that Steve had in fact raped Ivy several times and sexually harassed Milly. (SVU: "Can't Be Held Accountable")
When Rollins was kidnapped by Donna's husband, Frank, she, Ivy and Milly were brought into the Special Victims Unit for questioning. Donna was furious with Frank, claiming to the detectives he was just jealous of Ivy and Milly, and that Steve was a lovely man. Benson then told Donna the truth of what Steve had done to her daughters, which shocked her. Afterwards, Ivy and Milly were removed from Donna's custody and placed with their grandmother. (SVU: "Must Be Held Accountable")
Several months later, a now 16-year-old Ivy returned to live with her mother in New York, though experienced problems with drugs. When Ivy was acquitted of drug charges, Donna admitted to Rollins that Ivy was just like her when she was young. After Ivy spent a night in jail, Donna promised that Ivy wouldn't do anything illegal again. (SVU: "The Things We Have To Lose")
