Donna Cheponis is a murderer and internet con artist.

History[]

Donna killed her daughter Chrissy and hid her remains in her boyfriend Carl Heckley’s basement for two years, as they were having an affair. Donna filed a fraudulent missing person's report, but she decided to also enjoy herself in using Chrissy’s pictures for an online profile, which Heckley heavily operated.

She attracted the attention of auto repair shop boss Bob Munsen, who lied he was a Marine, and even was sent money he sold stolen library maps for. His subordinate Eric Greenwood found out what was going on and, also infatuated with Donna’s lies, said for Donna to forget about Munsen. Donna pushed Munsen to kill Greenwood when she told him about his attempts to break their communication’s up.

When Munsen was arrested, Donna was tracked from Chrissy’s photos, pretending to be the still grieving mother. When her lies came out, she denied any involvement in the crimes and played off her messages as innocent. But when Heckley’s involvement was revealed and Chrissy’s remains were found, Munsen was encouraged to testify.

Donna was found guilty of murder conspiracy and imprisoned. (L&O: “Personae Non Gratae”)
