Charles Hunter Walsh also known as Dylan Walsh is an actor who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
He is also well-known for his roles as Dr. Sean McNamara on the FX Network series Nip/Tuck (with Roma Maffia) and Al Burns on the CBS/AE series Unforgettable (with Michael Gaston, Dallas Roberts, and Tawny Cypress), and his recurring roles as Alex Ollerman in Whiskey Cavalier and Mayor Peter Chase in Blue Bloods. He also starred in the film Congo (with Laura Linney and Ernie Hudson).
In April 2020, Walsh was cast as Sam Lane (a character played by Glenn Morshower on Supergirl), the father of Lois Lane, on The CW action-superhero series Superman & Lois (with Alexander Garfin, Wolé Parks, and Chad L. Coleman).
He was married to actress Melora Walters from 1996 to 2003 and they have two children: Thomas Walsh (born in 1996) and Joanna Walsh (born in 1997). He was later married to actress Joanna Going from 2004 to 2012 and the two have a daughter, Stella Walsh, who was born in 2003. Walsh met Leslie Bourque and had a daughter, Amelie Belle, and a son, Hudson Scott. Walsh and Bourque are currently still together in 2024.
