Law and Order

Eddy Mack is an accomplice to countless robberies and the major competition of infamous thief Frank Hagar. He becomes invaluable to the rescue and insurance of Hagar's granddaughter Rosie Rinaldi, who was briefly kidnapped for ransom.

History[]

Mack was Hagar's biggest heist competition back in the day. His signature move was telling lower-level thieves the scores that fit their skill sets. When Hagar got Alzheimer's, he was out of business, leaving Mack with more opportunities for himself. After Hagar's granddaughter, Rosie Rinaldi, is kidnapped for a ransom of diamonds Liz Renaldi, Hagar's daughter and Rosie's mother, stole to pay off her husband's gambling debts, Detectives Stabler and Fin interrogate Mack at Hagar's trashed pawn shop, wanting to check out Hagar's condition only to find the crime scene in question.

Parnell later reveals who he really is, and they go to question him on the heist the diamonds were taken from. In code, Mack reveals the safe, a near-impenetrable Moseley, as well as the professor to consult on it, Roy Batters. Batters reveals the kidnapper with skill for the heist: his mentor's son Jake, who stole the diamonds and gave them to Hagar to sell so Jake would get the cash.

When Jake's arrested and Rosie's rescued, Parnell gets full custody of her, as Liz and her husband Pete were arrested in Connecticut. However, Parnell sticks up the hotel he and Rosie stay at with an empty gun to get himself arrested. Mack comes in revealing his motives: owing Parnell a "favor", he brings 200 grand for Rosie that's her money for wherever she goes in her live, Parnell knowing she'd succeed in her life without him. Mack reveals no details about the "favor" or where he got the money and leaves. (SVU: "Snatched")
