Edward Buddusky is a high school friend of Simon Marsden, who got him killed.
History[]
Buddusky said Simon was as smart as he was in high school, but that Marsden made a couple of bad choices in life and they ended up on different paths. Buddusky works at a brokerage firm called Sullivan Wyatt and is married with kids. Simon was looking for a job and asked his old friend, but Edward could not hire him due to his prior record. He met Simon for coffee, who he saw as very depressed about having no family or job, unlike his old friend. To get him out of his depression, Buddusky set Simon up with two women he hired, Piper Thomas (who he said he knew from a strip club) and Despina Johnson. They all ended up at the Hotel Moulin and Edward and Simon both passed out that night. Edward awoke to find the ladies gone. Simon however died and Buddusky called 911 and cleaned up the scene. Buddusky felt terrible, but also told himself that Simon "died happy [and] had one last good time".
When Thomas and Johnson continued trick-rolling more men, Simon's death was connected to them after another man, Paul Landry, died at Hotel Moulin. Special Victims Unit finds that Simon had called Buddusky on the night of his death, but he initially lied to them and claimed he was Simon's Narcotics Anonymous sponsor. Eventually, they pick up Piper and find a picture of her with Buddusky and Simon on her tablet. He then admits what had happened to SVU and ADA Dominick Carisi, Jr.. He also helped ID Despina in a police lineup after she was picked up. (SVU: "Trick-Rolled At The Moulin'")
