Edward Kofax was a judge based in Manhattan, New York City.
He presided over several cases involving the Special Victims Unit, most notably the William Lewis case. (SVU: "Psycho/Therapist")
He was also the leader of a sex trafficking ring called The Dollhouse. (SVU: "Brothel")
History[]
His daugther, Delia, died at age 16 of a drug overdose. Kofax was a judge presiding over drug treatment court. In secret, though, he would funnel young ladies into his sex ring. One night, one of the ladies, Torie Meeks, was murdered by the folks running the ring. SVU found this out and made voice recordings of him talking about the ring's actions with the help of his colleague (and woman he was secretly having an affair with), Judge Elana Barth. Kofax was then arrested and claimed to SVU that he took care of the escorts like they were his daughters, hoping to atone for the traumatic death of his own daughter. (SVU: "Brothel")
