Elaine Harrington is a teenager who was abused by her grandmother Doris and her boyfriend Harry Waters. Waters manipulated and raped Elaine, pretending to be a “father figure” to her by saying he lost a daughter to a car accident. Doris, in the meantime, was selling Elaine’s used underwear on eBay like other women with kids she knew.
When Waters’ online activities as a pedophile were tracked, Elaine being raped came to light. Waters was imprisoned, and she was at the very least removed from Doris’ custody. (SVU: "Chat Room")
