Elias Olsen is the prime suspect in the Singh home invasion and kidnapping.
History[]
After Priya and several other women were found being held captive in the basement, Elias was arrested by Tutuola and Muncy where Muncy hit him in the head with her radio. As Elias was being taken away, Elias claimed that he didn't touch those girls but reveals his father did. Elias was then taken into custody and received medical attention for his head injury. Elias was interrogated by Tutuola and Muncy where Muncy apologized for hitting Elias with her radio.
Elias tells Tutuola and Muncy that he didn't touch those girls and Muncy tells Elias that she believes him. When Tutuola says they found the keys to the padlock in Elias' pocket, Elias slammed his hands on the table yelling that he didn't do it. Elias told them that his father kidnapped those girls and he only kidnapped Priya so his father would be proud of him. Elias' attorney, Mason Carter, claims Elias was a victim of emotional, educational and physical neglect.
When Benson and the team question the girls about who touched them, they told her that Elias didn't touch them and that it was all Soren. Benson then informs Rollins that Soren is both the father of Elias and the daughter of a victim, Bella Moore. When Soren was found dead in the woods, Elias became the prime suspect in his murder. Elias becomes shocked that Soren died but Tutuola tells him that the slug matches Elias' gun. Elias claims that he would never hurt Soren. He claims that one of the girls must have gotten into his room and taken the gun. (SVU: "The Steps We Cannot Take")
Elias goes to trial for the attack on the Singh family. When Muncy testifies, Muncy has an outburst and makes a scene on the stand, threatening Elias constantly. In the end, the jury comes back deadlocked, and the charges are dropped after the Singh family moves back to India. (SVU: "And a Trauma in a Pear Tree")
After Muncy arrives at a crime scene, Muncy notices the similarities of the crime scene and Priya's crime scene. Muncy then tells Churlish that she believes Elias has struck again. When Muncy and Churlish find Elias, Elias comes out with a hammer and recognizes Muncy before she subdues him by claiming that they will help him, and this allows her and Churlish to arrest him with his peaceful cooperation. During interrogation, Elias confesses to the murder, and Carisi tells Muncy that Elias will be going to jail for life. Elias then breaks the window and strangles Muncy, screaming at her and accusing her of deceiving him, before being restrained by Velasco and Tutuola. (SVU: "Bad Things")
