Law and Order

Elizabeth Blaine is the controlling mother of Patricia and Priscilla Blaine. Elizabeth emotionally abused her youngest daughter Priscilla by taking control of her life, which drove Priscilla to commit suicide.

History[]

Elizabeth wanted to be an actress, but when the career opportunities weren't present for her, she projected onto her daughters. Patti had what it took to be an actress, but in order to not lose herself to the dangers of stardom, she quit and became estranged from her family. Elizabeth forced Priscilla into the same ambitions; she struggled to resist Elizabeth and followed the instructions she was given. When she gained a substantial theater career, Elizabeth signed Priscilla onto adult entertainment productions and supplied her with drugs to make her more compliant.

Priscilla developed severe depression, substance addictions, and rebellious streaks against Elizabeth. Priscilla eventually died from a drug overdose when the pressure became too much for her. Elizabeth was taken to trial for criminally negligent homicide as a consequence of her abuse. Patti returned to be the executor of the family estate in the meantime. Evidence against Elizabeth included a psychodrama tape where Priscilla acted out confronting Elizabeth, as well as Elizabeth being Priscilla's primary drug supplier. She was convicted and imprisoned.
