Elizabeth Mitchell (born Elizabeth Joanna Robertson) is an actress who played Andrea Brown in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 4 episode "Mercy" and June Frye in the Season 12 episode "Totem".
Mitchell is probably best known for her portrayal of Dr. Juliet Burke in the television series Lost (with Terry O'Quinn, Naveen Andrews, Maggie Grace, Malcolm David Kelley, Michael Emerson, and Titus Welliver). Mitchell also had lead roles as Erica Evans on the television series V (with Joel Gretsch, Lourdes Benedicto, Tim Guinee, and Stephen Collins), as Rachel Matheson in Revolution (with Zak Orth and Daniella Alonso), and as Deborah Carpenter in Freeform's Dead of Summer (2016). She also had a recurring role as the Snow Queen in Once Upon a Time.
In the 2002 film The Santa Clause 2, Mitchell played Carol Newman Calvin-Claus, who becomes Mrs. Claus. She reprised the role for the sequel The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, released in 2006, and did so again for the Disney+ limited series The Santa Clauses (with David Krumholtz and Kal Penn).
In 2018, Mitchell played Anna Volovodov on Season 3 of The Expanse (with Shohreh Aghdashloo). She made a cameo in the third episode of the final season of the series in 2021.
Also in 2021, she appeared in the film Queen Bees (with Ellen Burstyn and Christopher Lloyd) and the second season of the Netflix series Outer Banks.
In 2022, she joined FBI: International in the recurring role of Angela Cassidy, a government agent and the long-missing mother of main character Scott Forrester (with Luke Kleintank). She also portrayed Margot Fairmont in the Netflix series First Kill (with Polly Draper).
