Law and Order

Ellen Huffner was the ex-babysitter and childhood molester of Hunter Mazelon, which led to Mazelon turning to serial rape, murder, and other crimes as a teenager.

History[]

Huffner was hired by Bree Mazelon to be a babysitter for her son. Huffner would repeatedly rape the boy when they were alone. Mazelon's mother was unaware of this until discovering it months later and fired Huffner but did not file charges against her, thinking her son would forget about it. However, this led to him to grow up to become a sociopath who would rape older women as a way of expressing his past trauma.

At the peak of Mazelon's spree in New York, he called his mother Bree Mazelon drunk and said to Elliot Stabler he'd "do his job for him". Breaking into Huffner's apartment and holding her at gunpoint, Hunter demanded from Huffner why she was a pedophile and abused him. When Huffner didn't give the answers Hunter wanted, he shot her to prevent Huffner from doing more damage. Her body was discovered by detectives Stabler and Tutuola. Mazelon confessed to killing her to make sure that no one would suffer the painful life he had. Because of this, Mazelon was sent to a mental institution for the murder and the rapes.
