Dr. Emil Skoda is a psychiatrist who worked with the New York City Police Department on Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He often testified as an expert witness for the prosecution. He was played by J.K. Simmons. Skoda is unorthodox, insulting patients to find out if they are lying or are really mentally unstable.
