Quotes[]
- Briscoe: [arresting Regina Mulroney] I can't believe we're doing this.
- Pauline Brecker: Does this mean he wasn't cheating on me with that girl in the car?
- Olivia Benson: That would be the good news.
- Ed Green: My dad used to call me Fast Eddie.
- Olivia Benson: (raised eyebrow) Oh yeah?
- John Munch: Is this what I have to look forward to in my twilight years? Cyber-flirting with Betty and Veronica?
- Regina Mulroney: All great fortunes have a secret, Mr. McCoy. It's how you spend the money that counts. My family's philanthropy is well-documented.
- Jack McCoy: And so is the influence peddling.
- Stephanie Mulroney: I'm telling the truth!
- Jack McCoy: There's a first time for everything, huh Miss Mulroney?
- Abbie Carmichael: Why is everyone afraid of this woman?
- Adam Schiff: Regina's favorite joke: The difference between lace-curtain Irish and shanty Irish... (McCoy chimes in) lace-curtain Irish move the dishes before they piss in the kitchen sink. (pause, then back to Schiff) Ha. Yeah. She's shanty Irish, and proud of it.
Background information and notes[]
- This episode wraps up the loose end of the Ken Scofield murder from the season 4 episode "Mayhem" and concludes the storyline from the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode also named "Entitled".
- Jane Alexander, who played Regina Mulroney, is the wife of Ed Sherin, the director of this episode. She is also the mother of Jace Alexander, who has directed 32 episodes of the series.
- This is the only time Detective John Munch (Richard Belzer) has appeared on Law & Order as a member of the New York City Police Department, as his previous three appearances were as a member of the Baltimore Police Department (as a cast member of Homicide: Life on the Street). This would also be his last appearance on Law & Order.
