Erich Tassig is a German national living in the Czech Republic.
History[]
Tassig formed a relationship with Mia Van Wagner over the computer and was able to convince her to be with him in Prague. He had an acquaintance and fellow pedophile Ron Crowley create a fake passport for Mia for her to fly out.
Tassig and Mia continued their relationship with him introducing her to drugs and other vices. Unknown to Mia, he secretly took pictures of her and uploaded them on the Internet to other child pornographers.
Tassig was eventually discovered in a joint operation between the NYPD and Europol for distributing pornographic pictures of Mia. He abandons Mia after realizing the authorities were onto him, allowing Mia to be rescued. Mia turned from him after hearing about the pictures and he was arrested. Detective Elliot Stabler proceeded to beat him for his actions in the interrogation.
Computer tech was able to find out all the people he did business with on the Internet and one by one each of them were arrested. (SVU: "Pandora")
