Father Evans is a priest who took the confession of murderer Angel Cabrera. Cabrera tried to kill Father Evans for being a witness, but Father Grady was shot in the confessional booth instead.
Father Evans came forward to report Cabrera for the murders of Father Grady and Samuel Landrum, for which Freddie Ortega was wrongfully convicted. He was defrocked as a consequence of breaking the seal of confession. (L&O: "The Collar")
