Felicity Kendall Huffman is an actress who played Diane Perkins in the Law & Order episode "Helpless" and Hillary Colson in the episode "Working Mom". She is best known for her role as Lynette Scavo in the ABC comedy-drama Desperate Housewives (with Marcia Cross, Dana Delany, Andrea Bowen, Cody Kasch, Brenda Strong, and Richard Burgi), for which she earned the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for the debut season of the series, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three consecutive Golden Globe nominations. She also starred as Dana Whitaker on Sports Night (with Joshua Malina, Josh Charles, and Sabrina Lloyd) and in the anthology TV show American Crime (with Richard Cabral, Elvis Nolasco, and Lili Taylor).
She is married to William H. Macy. On March 12, 2019, Huffman was arrested and charged for her involvement in a nationwide college entrance exam cheating scandal. She pleaded guilty to federal charges on May 13, and she was subsequently sentenced to fourteen days in prison.
