Frank Barbarossa was a personal trainer and a suspect in the murder of Lawrence Fuller and the alleged rape of Gloria Stanfield, his ex-lover.
Frank was discovered to have been hired by Gloria to kill Lawrence and frame her stepson Kyle Fuller, and that the rape was a con that Gloria arranged with the use of Frank's frozen sperm that she retained.
After Frank agreed to testify against Gloria, the rape charge was dropped, he pleaded guilty to the murder in the second degree and was sentenced to 15 years in prison, whilst Kyle was cleared and released from Rikers, and Gloria was executed.
