Frank Miller, ESQ., is the executor of Ruth Thomas, an heiress and murder victim. Ruth consulted with Miller to file civil claims against her partner, Lyle Christopher, a con man living off Ruth’s money and planning to leave her for Susan Merriman. Ruth disappeared before she was to go on a cruise, as Christopher killed her after she told him to give her back her money lest she go to police.
Miller was questioned about Ruth’s disappearance, but he couldn’t give more information due to attorney-client privilege. However, he directed detectives Ruth’s friend Judith Grayson, who introduced Ruth to Christopher and knew of the ultimatum Ruth posed. (L&O: "Corpus Delicti")
