Frederick "Fred" Weller is an actor who played four different characters in all three primary shows of the Law & Order franchise.
Weller is married to actress Ali Marsh, who guest-starred on the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode "Proud Flesh" as Grace Slaughter. They have two children: Azalea and Hank. He and his family live in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City.
He later played Deputy U.S. Marshal Marshall Mann on the show In Plain Sight with Mary McCormack (Deputy U.S. Marshal Mary Shannon), whom he worked closely with and also is the godmother of his daughter, Paul Ben-Victor as their boss Chief Inspector Stan McQueen and Todd Williams as Detective Bobby Dershowitz.
He is a cousin of actor Peter Weller, best known for his role as Alex Murphy/RoboCop in RoboCop (1987) and its sequel RoboCop 2 (1990).
