Frederick Tucker is the embezzling partner of Frank Martin and the prime suspect in the staged strangulation murder of Layla Briggs.

History[]

Tucker and Martin were pathological sadists since their youth in Tennessee when they'd enjoy watching local girls they tied up scream and thrash to get free. Tucker grew up to be a successful federal auditor for the state Department of Commerce and Insurance. With Martin running an embezzlement scheme in his investment company, Martin Global Fund, Inc., Tucker covered the books to make the finances seem clean and disguise the trades in the forms of diamonds. Regularly being in the sadomasochist cultures, they'd bribe and blackmail women working in clubs to directly carry out the dirty deeds for them.

Martin was infamous at BDSM clubs for wanting dominant women to strangle for the sake of degrading them, but he would always arrange Tucker to meet women suiting his needs he wouldn't have to stress on charming beforehand. Tucker's favorite woman was Layla Briggs, the financial analyst at Martin Global. But it all turned for worse during a threesome between the two of them and Martin, when Martin had sex with her and Tucker strangled her as much as he could, eventually asphyxiating her to death. Tucker and Martin panicked and staged the scene as a suicide. Her mother Anne was horrified to find her hanged from her bed canopy in leather, stripping her of the outfit, dressing her in a robe, and throwing the leather in the dumpster, not noticing the whip she had was filled with half a million diamonds she stole from the scam.

The Special Victims Unit were led to Martin and Tucker, finding the leathers, then the diamonds. Martin's name came up with with the women he brutalized, but he denied his involvement, and Tucker kept to the cover story of neither knowing each other except for when his department sent him to do an audit on Martin Global. But when Angela Torres, known as "Sho Ling-Fu", was caught in a sting dealing more diamonds, she denied everything and was released, but this didn't stop Martin from believing she sold him out and, making good on an earlier threat to employ her, killing her boyfriend, charity forerunner and accomplice David Kemp, by shooting him in his office. Torres was detained and, devastated, revealed the hotel she was supposed to meet at. The police raid the room and find Tucker eating a delivered meal while in a bathrobe.

Tucker was arrested, but he denied murdering Briggs. Yet after Martin attacked office manager Amy Turner and stole her unused flight ticket, then got arrested, Turner revealed incriminating documents of the embezzlement, causing Martin to roll on Tucker for Briggs' murder. With Monique Jeffries disgusted by Tucker's racism, Tucker's told by Brian Cassidy he and Martin will be executed for their crimes. Both men are charged with all the evidence against them, found guilty, and sentenced to death. (SVU: "Stocks & Bondage")
