George Harding is a psychiatric hospital orderly suspected of the rape of schizophrenic patient Leslie Russo. Harding was beaten by her brothers Joe and Frank Russo consequentially, along with his colleague Jimmy Baxter. Harding was revealed to have not raped Leslie, as she reportedly had sex with Roger Appel, yet another employee on a separate ward, and Harding charged 10 bucks for the keys to the physical therapy room.
Harding, however, was paid to rape Wendy Singer, the daughter of Greta Singer, when Wendy was in a coma so Greta could have a grandchild. The baby lived, but Wendy died during childbirth, resulting in the duo being charged with murder. needing one to testify the other for such charges, the prosecution reluctantly reduced to rape, which resulted in successful convictions.
Harding was found guilty of rape and imprisoned. His parents filed for custody of the baby; the outcome left ambiguous. (L&O: "Grief")
