George Young Newbern is an actor who portrayed Dr. Al Pollack on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He is known for his role as Charlie on the TV show Scandal (with Kerry Washington, Guillermo Díaz, Tony Goldwyn, Joshua Malina, Bellamy Young, Scott Foley, Kate Burton, Dylan Minnette, Norm Lewis, and Joe Morton) as well as appearing in the Father of the Bride film series as Bryan MacKenzie (with Martin Short and B.D. Wong), Saw VI as Harold Abbott and Dan Lynch in Adventures in Babysitting (with Vincent D'Onofrio, Anthony Rapp, Ron Canada, Bradley Whitford, Clark Johnson, and Lolita Davidovich). He is also known for his voice acting, having played the character of Superman in a variety of media, namely the animated series Justice League (taking over for Tim Daly who voiced the character in Superman: The Animated Series), the Injustice series of video games, and the game MultiVersus (with Daniel DiVenere, John DiMaggio, and Matthew Lillard).
