Giancarlo Giuseppe Alessandro Esposito is an American actor who played three different characters on Law & Order and Law & Order: Trial by Jury.
He also starred as Mike Giardello in Season 7 of Homicide: Life on the Street and the movie Homicide: The Movie.
He is best known for playing Gus Fring on the TV series Breaking Bad (with Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, and Steven Bauer) and its prequel spinoff Better Call Saul (with Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, and Bauer). His other roles include the character of Moff Gideon in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian (with Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Katee Sackhoff, and Ming-Na Wen), Akela in the 2016 film The Jungle Book (with Idris Elba), and the narrator of the Netflix series Dear White People (with John Patrick Amedori).
