Trivia[]
- The title is taken from the Rolling Stones song of the same name, which was used in the promotional trailer for the crossover movie.
- The broadcast order of the shows in this crossover is reversed from the usual broadcast order in the United States, as Law & Order typically airs first on Thursday night, followed by SVU and then Organized Crime. In this case, Organized Crime and Law & Order flipped time-slots for this night only.
- In spite of the episode, the detectives of Law & Order appear at the beginning of this crossover before they are joined by the Organized Crime characters.
- During the initial broadcasts of the crossover, the intros and opening monologues were removed from each show. Instead, a title card showed the names of all three shows at the beginning. In streaming services, the intros are intact.
- This marks the first time Law & Order and SVU have had a crossover event since the episodes "Design" and "Flaw" in 2005, and the first time Law & Order has crossed over with Organized Crime.
- Sam Waterston reprised his role as DA Jack McCoy in the SVU season 19 episode "The Undiscovered Country", which aired in 2018, but the mothership series had not been airing new episodes at the time.
- Benson and SVU recurring character Tommy McGrath appeared in the Law & Order season 21 episode "Black and Blue", but the central case was resolved in that episode.
- This is the first three-show crossover that strictly involved shows in the Law & Order franchise. Previous such events had been limited to two shows.
- SVU had previously been part of two three-show crossovers with two shows from the One Chicago franchise: Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D.
- In early 2001, there had been plans to air a three-show crossover event involving the mothership series, SVU, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent, which would have seen all three casts teaming up to investigate a terrorist attack involving biological weapons. Those plans were scrapped following the September 11 attacks.
