Global Voyages Travel Agency was a child sex trafficking ring centered around a traveling agency allowing pedophiles to rape children in foreign countries. Their crimes range from sex trafficking, child molestation, assault, rape, and murder.
Background[]
It was founded by Anthony Damon, who booked several tours to wealthy clients to travel to Third World Countries. In truth, he used the agency to endorse wealthy pedophiles and allowed them to go on trips to Third World countries, where they would rape boys and videotape the acts. These videos were later turned into tapes by Tony's company and given to the customers as souvenirs. The agency also acted as a smuggling ring, as numerous children were kidnapped and brought to the U.S. and were sold to pedophiles after Damon bribed an official to forge adoption papers to avoid suspicion.
However, Tony himself was not a pedophile and kept his distance from his customers' lifestyles, being in it just for money and deeming the customers as freaks.
On SVU[]
The ring first came into SVU's crosshairs when SVU found a dead boy who was seen with another boy Ernesto who described his sexual abuse by Bret Jansen, leading to a search of the latter's house, where they find a tape of him and another man sexually abusing a child in a foreign country. SVU soon discovered the killer had medical knowledge, so they dove deeper and found about Jansen's associates Stewart Lynch, Walt Massey, and Anthony Damon but found no concrete evidence against them.
However, they set up a sting and were able to incriminate Damon promoting child rape for his trips. Damon denied being a pedophile or a murderer and told SVU that he assumed Lynch was the culprit and he was expecting a tape from his recent trip.
Lynch was arrested after being caught with child pornography, making a plea deal he gave up the identities of the clients he knew. This led to SVU arresting the other customers, including a teacher, court clerk, engineer, and several Wall Street businessmen who incriminate Damon as the smuggler, leading to him being placed in a federal prison for being an accessory to the rapes. SVU also found Jansen's real killer Massey who was executed for the gruesome murder. (SVU: "Angels")
