Dr. Grant Tyler is a womanizer and later a murder victim. Grant had a history of harassing women even if they were married, especially seducing and having sex with them regularly if they more than consented. Grant had a teenage son named Keith who was responsible for Grant's murder inadvertently, sabotaging his motorcycle out of harmlessly meant revenge but making Grant fly off his motorcycle when it stopped on the road and threw Grant onto a sharp fence that impaled him.
Keith was having an illegal affair with his high school teacher, Danielle McCaskin, who was also blackmailed into having sex with Grant and orchestrated his death. When the truth was revealed and Keith was arrested, Danielle stepped in so she could save Keith from legal penalties. She pleaded guilty to statutory rape and was imprisoned in exchange for Keith not being charged. It was revealed she was pregnant and carrying Grant's child with her, not Keith's as the teen had originally assumed. (CI: "Tru Love")
