Gregory Eldon is a pastor and attorney for the Baker family who used his position to rape the Baker's young daughters, Summer and Lane Baker, both of whom were impregnated.
History[]
In 2012, Eldon seduced and raped Summer Baker while they were giving out presents for Christmas at East Mount Harlem. Summer fell pregnant with his child and their son Tate was born a year later. Eldon avoided detection because he was a family friend and the Baker parents passed Tate off as their son for the show.
In July of 2015, he seduced and raped Lane Baker as well. Eldon also made her promise not to tell people while telling her people in love do this. Lane fell pregnant with his child and her pregnancy was discovered three months later. At first, Lane pinned it on the show cameraman who was monitoring the daughters when they were undressing but he was innocent because of his vasectomy.
Eldon soon pinned it on the Baker's troubled son Graham, knowing they would do anything to protect their son. Indeed, Graham was sent to Ecuador for help with his issues. Eventually, Special Victims Unit discovered he chaperoned Lane on a mission to New York around the time she got pregnant, realizing he might be the culprit. They also get proof of Eldon being with Summer three years ago from the family blog, noting that he gets them away from home to seduce them. Getting a warrant, Sergeant Mike Dodds and Detective Odafin Tutuola get his DNA, which is tested and compared to Tate's (which they obtain from when he previously drooled on Carisi's blazer) it is revealed that he is the father of Tate and most likely Lane's child.
Realizing the Detectives were closing in, Eldon fled to Allanville and attempted to marry Lane on her birthday in order to avoid any statutory rape charges. However, Lieutenant Benson and Detective Carisi tell Summer and Lane's parents what Eldon did in front of Officer Doug Tramwell and Judge Elias J. Barnes, they confer with Lane who confirms it all. With that, the Baker parents decide to press charges and Eldon was subsequently arrested but was confident that it wouldn't hold in court. As he was led out, a disgusted Carisi proceeded to admonish the smug Eldon for his action. Despite his confidence in the verdict, it was said that he pleaded guilty to two counts of statutory rape and was imprisoned. The Bakers also proceeded to hold an interview to reveal his actions.
