Professor Halbersham (first name unknown) is a Hanford University professor of journalism. Nafeesa Amir was one of her most passionate students, as she was from Afghanistan, a specific population where women's rights were severely forbidden compared to America.
When Nafessa was murdered, Prof. Halbersham was questioned, and she spoke about Nafeesa's life and studies. Mentioning she was amazed, she also added she couldn't have left Afghanistan on her own, so her family was also in New York City.
