Summary[]
When a crazed gunman open fires during a rally with State Senator Celeste Kelman, seven innocent people are killed including the Senator. With the help of modern technology, the detectives identify a solid lead and possible motive for the shooting. At the DDA's office, tensions are running high when Dekker and Rubirosa disagree on how to handle the case. Meanwhile, TJ gets himself into a sticky situation as he continues his quest to find his dead partner's killer.

- Dekker was in New York representing his cousin, Dwight Talcott, which happened in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Reparations".
- Dekker mentioned that Rubirosa went rogue on Cutter once and helped the defense. He could be referring to the events of the Law & Order episode "Dignity".
- This episode is actually the last episode of Law & Order: LA that was produced and was meant to be aired last as it ends with a cliffhanger. The cliffhanger was left unresolved due to the cancelation of the show.
