Hector Salazar was a DA Investigator, who works for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
Salazar worked for the NYPD until he retired on a medical discharge and started working for the DA's office. Salazar's first partner was Detective Lennie Briscoe, but he died after a few months. After that, Chris Ravell became Salazar's second partner.
