Helen Weiss is the defense attorney of Kyle Chase, who she only represented to separate his hate crime case from co-defendants Tony Stratton and Timothy Moore.
Weiss successfully negotiated a deal for her client of a reduced sentence in exchange for a plea to first-degree assault, as all Chase attacked Latin American citizens in the U.S. with his accomplices, he asserted he didn’t kill one of the men Stratton and Moore attacked without him. Chase’s testimony was brought to trial, and his cooperation resulted in the agreed deal. (L&O: "Promote This!")
