Background information and notes[]
- Ron Leibman and Jessica Walter, who play married couple Paul and Anna Kopell in this episode, were married in real life until his death in 2019.
- This episode is based on the Bruce Cutler case. Cutler was the attorney for famed Mafia boss John Gotti, but was removed because he was deemed to be too immersed in Gotti's activities to be independent. Eventually, Gotti was found not guilty in part due to the bribery of juror George Pape. (Bruce Cutler at Wikipedia)
