Ivy Bucci is one of the daughters of Detective Frank Bucci.
History[]
Ivy and her sister Milly were being groomed by a man named Steve Getz, who she did modeling for. This was reported to the Special Victims Unit by a suspicious Frank. However, Ivy was willing to continue her relationship with Getz and was mad at her father for demanding that he be charged, standing by Getz throughout the whole case.
She later witnessed Judge Joe Ellery dismiss the charges against Getz after believing the girls were old enough to consent and that he didn't know Ivy and Milly's true ages. She was invited to Getz's private party on a yacht to celebrate his freedom along with Milly and their mother Donna. Frank flew into a rage and kidnapped Detective Rollins in retaliation. During Rollins' ordeal with Frank, Ivy, Milly, and Donna were taken to the SVU precinct for questioning. Ivy was extremely annoyed and behaved rudely towards Detective Tamin, especially when Tamin kept questioning her. In the end, Ivy and Milly were put into the custody of social services, and Frank's mother came from Florida to collect both girls. (SVU: "Must Be Held Accountable")
A few months later, Ivy, now 16 years old, had decided to return to New York and live with her mother. However, the trauma from Getz's abuse remained with her and caused her to act out. Rollins arrested Ivy for possession of cocaine at a party. Ivy insisted she would set herself straight, but after being arrested again several hours later, Rollins left Ivy locked in a cell for the night as a way to show what fate awaits her. After talking to the judge, Rollins helped Ivy avoid prison time by giving her one last chance. However, Rollins and the judge stressed to Ivy that if she screwed up again, she would be serving time.
