Jack Robinson is a homeless, teenage con artist hiring rape victim Andrew Hingham to be his plus one at a wedding after party.

As mentioned by his father, Jack was very intelligent being born with an IQ of 150. Jack would often pull scams that his mother would always believe while his father knew better. He sought to gain wealth and leave his small town to achieve the dream. Once the opportunity came, he left his family home but he still maintained sporadic contact with them.
Jack made it to New York, where he later volunteer at a house but was described by Ken Randall as the only helping himself in there he would meet Andrew Hingham. After taking an interest in him, he taught Andrew the rules of the streets and kept him from an asylum where his doctor, Fran Stanton, was drugging and raping him, even to the point of having a child. He voluntarily checked himself in the asylum that Andrew was at to get thousands of dollars' worth of prescription drugs to sell on the streets. The staff were aware of his act, though they never found him because of his skill in evasion.
At a wedding, he solicited a guest and stole the latter's valuable watch, while leaving out. Jack got thrown out of the wedding after hassling the bride, though Andrew let him back in. When buzzed on the substances he was on, Jack got Andrew alone in a closet and orally raped him, leading Andrew to snap from rape trauma and push him away. Jack got angry and they fought until Andrew pushed him again but this time hard enough to hit against a shelf, killing him from a head wound. Panicking and fearing being returned to Stanton, or going to jail, Andrew planted his wallet on Jack and beat his face to make him unrecognizable. His body was found and taken to the morgue, where his devastated father identified the body before he mourned his death and commented that his son finally angered the wrong guy.
Andrew was found and confessed to the crime, expressing heavy remorse. However, because of Jack's attempted assault, he was acquitted of the self-defense killing, as well as rescued from Stanton when she was charged with rape. (SVU: "Conned")
