Jackson Wright is the creator of a popular dating app and CEO of the company behind it, Mr. Wright Now/Mr. Wright Forever. He is also a rapist.

History[]

Wright had gone to USC for college where he had met Cressida Gordon, the future CFO of the dating app company. She also introduced him to her best friend and his future wife, Sara, who years later died in a car accident. After her death, Wright came up with the app Mr. Wright Now as a way of getting himself and others back into the dating world.

He matched with one of his employees and Cressida Gordon's goddaughter, Lisa Rose, on the app. During their date, he had raped her, though neither of them told anyone else what had happened.

Sorry If It Got Weird For You[]

Lisa later accused Wright of rape and claimed that she tried to tell her godmother. When Wright was questioned, he denied the allegations. When Cressida herself publicly smeared Wright as a predator, Wright retorted with his own public denial in breaking consent. Cressida reported four women stopped using the dating app after being matched with Wright, reporting the same dialogue in texts but only saying he was bad at sex and denying the need to get legally involved. The team found out that Wright had tried to bribe a woman, which calls for motive.

Wright was taken to court and was represented by Counselor Jericho Swope. When Cressida went on the stand, Cressida exclaimed that Wright raped her too. To get a conviction, Wright was goaded on the stand to rant women-hating language that destroyed his credibility. Eventually, Wright was found guilty of rape and imprisoned.
