Jake Stanton was a retired football player who suffered from dementia after suffering many concussions on the football field. He committed statutory rape with a 14-year-old girl named Vicki Harris, claiming he did not know her age.
A successful defense by Bayard Ellis resulted in him being unable to be held responsible for his actions as a result of his condition. Afterwards, Stanton committed suicide outside the courtroom after stealing the gun of a police officer who wanted to take a selfie with him. (SVU: "Spiraling Down")
