James Brolin is an actor who guest-starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the episode "Lunacy" as Dick Finley.
Brolin has starred in four television series in a career which has spanned five decades. He became widely-known for his roles as Robert Young's youthful, skilled assistant physician, Dr. Steven Kiley, on Marcus Welby, M.D. (1969–1976), Peter McDermott on Hotel (1983–1988; with Michael Spound), Lt. Col. Bill "Raven" Kelly on Pensacola: Wings of Gold (1997–2000; with Kenny Johnson and Michael Trucco), and John Bertram Short on the sitcom Life in Pieces (2015-2019 with Zoe Lister Jones, Thomas Sadoski, and Dianne Wiest). He also had a recurring role as Governor and presidential candidate Robert Ritchie in The West Wing. He also starred in the movie Capricorn One (with Elliott Gould and Sam Waterston), the 1979 film version of The Amityville Horror (with Margot Kidder) and the animated Pixar movie Lightyear (with Keke Palmer and Isiah Whitlock, Jr.) as Zurg.
Brolin won two Golden Globe Awards and also an Emmy Award for his role as Dr. Steven Kiley in Marcus Welby, M.D..
