James "Jimbo" Duncan is one of the foster sons of Chesley Watkins and one of four employed for a series of family massacres and robberies in wealthy areas. Duncan and two of the other killers were also employed to kill the fourth, Antonio Mattini, and his only friend in the home and protector, Officer Bone Tarkman, who kept the other boys from harassing, brutalizing, and sexually battering him.
Duncan, Floyd Bolton, and Carlos Espilla jumped Mattini at his job at a dive, with Tarkman intervening only to also get beaten up. When the three ran, Tarkman was shot in a panic by Logan, which Watkins spun as an attack on her family. She further propagandized it and eliminated Mattini by getting him to surrender, only for setting his murder up by an inmate.
Bolton was singled out and confessed, leading them all to go to trial. When Bolton was manipulated by Watkins into killing himself, files for dismissal were sent, with unknown results. (CI: "To the Bone")
