Jane Alexander (born October 28, 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American actress who played Regina Mulroney in the Law & Order episode "Entitled" and in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Entitled". She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy award for her work in both episodes.
Alexander has been nominated for four Academy Awards (Oscars) for her roles in the films The Great White Hope (with James Earl Jones), All the President's Men, Kramer vs. Kramer, and Testament. She also appeared in the theatre version of The Great White Hope (also with Jones) and won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play. She also played Eleanor Roosevelt in several TV miniseries (with Edward Herrmann). She also starred in the film Terminator Salvation (with Anton Yelchin).
Alexander's son is actor/director Jace Alexander, her daughter-in-law is Maddie Corman, and her husband is director Ed Sherin.
