Law and Order

Jane Bullard is the wife of slashing victim Jerry Bullard.

History[]

She and her husband had a daughter named Janette.

Feeling they needed variety, she and Jack attended The Swing Set, a sex club for swingers where Jerry met Cassandra Davina. Instead of being a client, Davina was really a con artist with her twin brother and boyfriend, Doug Loveless. Davina seduced Bullard into pulling hundreds of thousands out of his family's accounts and funds for her.

Jane found out and pleaded with Jerry to stop, but he was too entranced by the manipulation. When he was near going out of state for his job, he turned back to go after Davina again, which Jane suspected. After a night of heavy drinking, she confronted Jerry and it turned into an argument, then Jane pulling out a knife in a drunken rage and stabbing his stomach and thigh, Jerry defending himself and ending up with a cut on his hand. The altercation was caught by local insomnia Aldo, who was run into by Jerry, and a couple found him and kept pulling out and pushing back in the knife in his artery. He went into a coma from a bleed in his brain from head trauma.

Jane significantly regretted what she did and genuinely showed her horror when she was told the news by Special Victims, but she never said her role in his assault though secretly she was relieved he survived. She also defended herself and Jerry about their swinging, saying it was her idea and Jerry was originally to "vanilla". But she was ultimately incriminated when Jerry woke up and named Jane as his attacker. She's taken to interrogation, where she confesses in tears and says she was hoping to beg for forgiveness when Jerry recovered and awoke.

Jane was found guilty of aggravated assault and imprisoned. (SVU: "Bombshell")
