Jeremy Allen White (born February 17, 1991 in New York City, New York) is an actor who is known for his role as Phillip "Lip" Gallagher on the Showtime series Shameless (with William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Chloe Webb, Zach McGowan, Cameron Monaghan, Ethan Cutkosky, Noel Fisher, and Joan Cusack). He also stars on the TV show The Bear (with Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Liza Colón-Zayas).
He played three different characters on Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
White married actress Addison Timlin on October 18, 2019. The couple have two daughters (born in October 2018 and December 2020).
