Gerald Isaac "Jerry" Stiller (June 8, 1927–May 11, 2020) was an American actor and comedian, well known for being part of the comedy duo Stiller and Meara with his wife Anne Meara. He is also the father of actor Ben Stiller and actress Amy Stiller. He guest-starred in the Law & Order episode "The Fertile Fields" as Michael Tobis and in the Law & Order episode "Deadbeat" as Sam Pokras.
He was best known for his roles as Frank Costanza on Seinfeld (with Estelle Harris playing his wife) and Arthur Spooner on The King of Queens (with Nicole Sullivan).
