Jessie "Jess" Lucas is the stalker and blackmailer of business tycoon Peter Wilder.

Jessie's mother Brenda had an affair with business tycoon Peter Wilder, even Brenda believing Peter was Jessie's father and Jessie believing Peter wanted no part in her life. When she grew up, Jessie met Peter's son Scott, who hated his father for not financially supporting him and kicking him out of the house and was hoping for revenge. Scott saw a chance in Jessie and colluded with her in a blackmail campaign by saying they wanted money in exchange for not revealing his affair. Jessie eventually found out Peter was in no way her father and, devastated, she backed out of the plan. Scott wasn't done with it, but Peter told him he knew the scam, so Scott killed himself out of defeat.
Jessie was shaken and feared she'd be suspected of killing Scott, so she kept up the lie when questioned by police. She was taken to trial on suspicion of murdering Scott, until it was revealed she knew Peter wasn't her family. New evidence came up against Peter, and in a trial against him, Jessie was called as a witness, but his defense tore her apart on the stand, as well as twisted the knife in her pain of not having a father figure in her life. When Peter admitted Scott killed himself in front of him, Jessie was cleared completely and absolved of any further harassment campaigns. (L&O: "All My Children")
