Jim Anderson is the grieving fiancé of the late criminal lab technician Daisy Cho and the con victim of Emma Kim, Daisy's killer.
History[]
Jim was scouted by Kim when she published his work as a graphic artist in her magazine to get his attention. Kim eventually seduced him, affirming who Daisy never trusted her. Like other men before him, Jim was conned by Kim with a lie she had health bills to pay, this time kidney disease. Daisy was appalled when Kim got Jim to steal from Daisy's savings, but Jim was still manipulated enough by Kim to tell her Daisy found out.
While Jim was at his parents' home in the Adirondacks for alone time and to keep to his creativity, Kim killed Daisy by stabbing her in her apartment, stealing some cash in addition. She later came forward and lied a Dominican livery driver pulled a knife and tried to rape her to cover for herself. Jim was a suspect beforehand, as Daisy found Kim's hygiene wipe in her trash and told her colleagues to test it, which is how she found out about the affair.
Kim was identified from a red babydoll nighty in her size bought with a Victoria's Secret gift card Jim said was for Daisy. Her DNA matched the sanitation wipe Daisy brought to the lab, and she was arrested. Kim was convicted of murder after failing to sabotage the trial with using her seduction of Lupo, then randomly accusing numerous officials of sexual abuse. (L&O: "Just a Girl in the World")
