Joseph Robinette "Joe" Biden Jr. is the 46th and current President of the United States serving alongside Vice President Kamala Harris, having won the 2020 presidential election against former President Donald Trump on November 7, 2020. Despite running for reelection in the 2024 presidential election and becoming his party's presumptive nominee, he ultimately announced that he was suspending his campaign after public concerns about his age and health. Biden was also Vice President under Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017.
While serving as Vice President, he appeared as himself in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 18 episode "Making a Rapist", in which he spoke about untested rape kits. He is also close friends with Mariska Hargitay in real life.
