John Robert Magaro is an actor who played four different characters across, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Conviction.
He starred in Not Fade Away and My Soul to Take (with Raúl Esparza). He also had roles in The Big Short (with Hamish Linklater and Finn Wittrock), Carol (2015) and the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black (with Natasha Lyonne and Laverne Cox) as Vince Muccio and The Umbrella Academy as Leonard Peabody / Harold Jenkins. He made his Broadway debut as Earl Williams, the escaped convict, in the hit revival of The Front Page in 2016.
In 2021, he appeared as Silvio Dante (originally portrayed in the series by Steven Van Zandt) in the upcoming American crime drama film The Many Saints of Newark (with Jon Bernthal, Vera Farmiga, Leslie Odom, Jr., Corey Stoll, and Billy Magnussen) directed by Alan Taylor and written by David Chase and Lawrence Konner as a prequel to Chase's HBO crime drama series The Sopranos.
