Joshua Feldman is a Jewish congregate and the secret lover of married orthodox Muslim congregate Mira Elbisi. She turned to Joshua to get away from a constricting, abusive marriage, as well as joined him in New York City's Interfaith Council to unite the city communities of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity for coexisting with each other while educating between each other about the three primary Abrahamic faiths.
Joshua was questioned when Mira was raped and murdered, and he feared her husband El-Shani was responsible. But explaining his relationship with Mira actually led the detectives to Mira's real killer, the same killer of Arab immigrant Tariq Assad: the killer, Sean Webster, stalked the members of the Council and followed them later to murder them.
