Julianne Nicholson is an actress who portrayed Detective Megan Wheeler on Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Nicholson's pregnancy required her to leave the show temporarily for maternity leave during the show's first half of the seventh season. She was replaced by actress Alicia Witt (Detective Nola Falacci). She and her husband Jonathan Cake welcomed their first child, a son named Ignatius, in September 2007.
Before her time on Criminal Intent, Nicholson appeared in the Law & Order season eleven episode "All My Children" as Jessie Lucas.

Nicholson won her first Emmy for her role in Mare of Easttown (with Neal Huff).
